Salmon Corn Chowder

This is an easy and inexpensive but hearty chowder for a cold or foggy day.

Serves: 8 servings
Ingredients
- 2 T butter
- 1 onion chopped
- 2 stalks celery chopped
- 2 T flour
- 2 C chicken broth
- 2 C half and half or use part milk
- 1 can salmon
- 1 can corn
- 1 can creamed corn
- salt and pepper
- dill
Instructions
- Saute onion and celery in butter until tender. Add flour and stir till well blended. Add chicken stock a little at a time to blend. Stir and simmer until thickened. Add salmon, corn, and spices. Add half and half and heat thoroughly. Add dill.
