This is a lovely, rich soup that is sure to please guests.
Ingredients
½ C rice
1 C chicken stock
¼ t salt
2 C sour cream
1 t salt
¼ t pepper
¼ t paprika
chopped parsley
2 lg onion chopped
4 T butter
2 T garlic oil or 1 lg clove minced
½ t fresh thyme or ⅛ t dried
½ lb cooked fresh crab
7 C chicken stock
½ C white wine
4 T soft butter
4 T four
Instructions
Cook rice in chicken stock 25 min. Add sour cream, spices.
Sauté onion and garlic in butter until golden, add thyme. Add crab. Add Stock ad wine and bring to boil. Work butter and flour together Stir into a cup of hot soup and add to soup. Simmer 15 min. Add rice. Garnish with parsley.
